AvIndia is dedicated to driving sustainable change in the aviation industry by addressing India's environmental challenges with humility and determination. In a country burdened by the environmental and social costs of landfilling waste, our innovative approach to municipal solid waste (MSW) management is more vital than ever. Through advanced gasification and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis processes, we aim to introduce solutions that not only minimise environmental impact but also foster a more sustainable aviation future.

The journey from waste to fuel begins with meticulous sorting and processing of MSW to ensure the purity of feedstock for gasification. Industrial-scale gasifiers then transform MSW into syngas, a versatile precursor for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Rigorous purification of syngas precedes the crucial Fischer-Tropsch synthesis stage, where catalytic conversion yields FT-SPK, the sustainable aviation fuel of the future.

Once derived, our SAF undergoes stringent quality control measures before being transported for blending with conventional jet fuel. AvIndia is committed to establishing an efficient and cost-effective SAF logistical chain, seamlessly connecting Fischer-Tropsch process plants with major airports nationwide.

SAF-P, or SAF-Pilot, is AvIndia's pioneering Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project aimed at demonstrating the feasibility and scalability of SAF production in India. Located near Kolkata Airport, SAF-P utilizes innovative gasification technology to convert Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) into sustainable aviation fuel. Kolkata, known for its bustling metropolis, faces significant waste management challenges due to its dense population and rapid urbanization. By implementing SAF-P in Kolkata, AvIndia addresses the city's waste management issues while contributing to sustainable aviation. The project's pilot scale allows for testing and optimization of production processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with international quality standards. SAF-P serves as a crucial stepping stone towards achieving AvIndia's long-term goal of establishing a sustainable aviation fuel supply chain in India.

SAF-O, or SAF-ONE, represents AvIndia's first full-scale Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production facility, strategically situated near Noida Airport. Noida, a burgeoning satellite city of Delhi, grapples with waste management challenges amid its rapid development. Building upon the success and insights gained from the SAF-Pilot project, SAF-O aims to commercialize SAF production on a larger scale, catering to the growing demand for sustainable aviation fuels in the region. By utilizing advanced gasification and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis technologies, SAF-O ensures efficient conversion of waste feedstock into high-quality SAF, contributing to reduced carbon emissions and enhanced environmental sustainability in the aviation sector. With SAF-O, AvIndia strengthens its position as a leader in sustainable aviation fuel production, fostering economic growth and environmental stewardship in the Noida region and beyond.

SAF-T, or SAF-TWO, marks the culmination of AvIndia's ambitious expansion plan, with the establishment of another state-of-the-art Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production facility near Navi Mumbai Airport. Navi Mumbai, a planned city adjoining Mumbai, faces waste management challenges exacerbated by its burgeoning population and rapid urbanization. Designed to leverage the expertise and experience gained from SAF-Pilot and SAF-ONE projects, SAF-T aims to further scale up SAF production capacity, meeting the rising demand for eco-friendly aviation fuels across India. Through continuous innovation and strategic partnerships, SAF-T reinforces AvIndia's commitment to sustainable aviation and environmental stewardship, driving the transition towards a greener future for air travel. With SAF-T, AvIndia establishes a strong foothold in the Mumbai region, contributing to regional development and environmental sustainability in one of India's key metropolitan areas.
